She was born February 28, 1920 in Astoria, NY, a daughter of the late John and Catherine Burkhardt Eibl.
Catherine was a homemaker all of her life and family truly evolved at the center. She enjoyed cooking, baking and babysitting, starting with her own children and eventually watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. When she was able to walk around her neighborhood, she enjoyed spending time at the Salvation Army and the Senior Center, which would find her participating in some kind of activity.
She is predeceased by her husband, Harold Schrader, who passed away in 1972 and her seven brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her children, Susan (Ronald) Dibble of Batavia, Michael “Mick” (Cheryl) Schrader of Batavia and Sally (Robert) Dobreski of Mesa, AZ. Grandchildren, Patricia (Charles) Fales of Batavia, Paul (Amber) Dibble of Batavia, Jennifer (Christopher) Rollins of Albany, NY and Scott (Christine) Schrader of Batavia. Also survived by nine great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with interment in Elmwood Cemetery.
