Dave was a veteran of the Air Force who loved golfing, the Buffalo Bills, and a good Manhattan. We will miss his quick humor and wit.
He is survived by his wife; Elizabeth (Merry) McCurdy of Batavia; children Katherine (Thomas) Willette of Penfield and John (Laura) McCurdy of Webster; sisters Gloria Olmsted of Buffalo and Dorothy Spear of Glenfield, NY; sister-in-law Patty McCurdy of Cato, NY; grandchildren Clare, Emma, Audrey, Ian and Aren, along with many nieces and nephews.
There will be no prior calling hours. All are invited to attend a 12:00PM Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday January 26, 2019 at Resurrection Parish, 18 Ellicott St. Batavia, NY 14020. Dave will be laid to rest in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Batavia.
