Gerald A. "Jerry" Kellogg

Gerald A. “Jerry” Kellogg, 83, of Batavia passed away on Friday February 2, 2018.   He was born on June 17, 1934 in Altmar, NY to the late Arthur & Helen (Harris) Kellogg.  Jerry is predeceased by a brother, Donald Kellogg. 

Jerry was a paratrooper with the United States Army.  During his service he received Sharpshooter and Good Conduct Medals as well as his parachutist badge.  He was an avid outdoorsman and was a long time member of Genesee County Fish & Game Protective Association (Godfrey’s Pond).  He enjoyed NASCAR racing and in his early years raced stock cars.  Jerry had a green thumb and could often be found tending to his garden.  He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his beloved children, Susan (Keith) Boyle of Stafford and David Kellogg of Honeoye; sister, Grace Kellogg of Tryon, NC; brother, James (Dawn) Kellogg of Central Square, NY; grandchildren, Connor and Evan Boyle; along with several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral Services will be held privately. He will be laid to rest in Western New York National Cemetery, Pembroke.
