Age 84, of Batavia died peacefully Saturday January 27, 2017 at United Memorial Medical Center. She was born in Olive Hill, KY a daughter of the late John and Sarah (Adkins) Porter also preceded in death by her siblings, Edward, Elliott, Joe, Monroe, Chlorane, Irene, Kenneth, Lloyd, Hildreth, Hazelmarie and Iona.
Mrs. Porter will be remembered as a wonderful mother and grandmother, she loved attending her grandchildren's sporting events and was an avid Cincinnati Bengals fan.
Surviving are her children, Ken (Juanita) Hale of Bergen, Lisa M. (Diane Rapkiewicz) Toal of OH and Cathy Martino of Batavia; sister, Thelma Porter of Batavia; grandchildren, Nicole (Enly) King, Kristin Hale, Kenneth Hale, Jr., Philip (Kate) Toal, Adam Toal, Sarah (Greg) Feocco, Rachel Cipra, Paul Cipra, Jr., Casey Herman and Alex Rood; 13 great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
As per Evelyn's wishes funeral services will be held privately by the family, she will be laid to rest in Grand View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials in her memory are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
