He was born April 26, 1945 in Batavia, NY, a son of the late Thomas and Frances LeShander Knox.
Kip was the owner of the former Brooks Funeral Home which was located in Pavilion. He also was a stone carver for Derrick Monument Co. in LeRoy for a several years. Kip enjoyed reading, history and nature.
Survivors include a brother, Jud (Laurie) Knox of York, Maine and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Todd Knox.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
