Kenneth W. Shephard

Kenneth W. Shephard, 82, of Batavia passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family Monday July 20, 2015. He was born July 16, 1933 in Buffalo, New York to the late Warren (Mildred Back) Shephard. He is preceded in death by his brother Peter Shephard and sister Carol Shephard

Kenneth was a lifetime endowed member of the NRA. He enjoyed the outdoors and in his earlier years he liked to hunt.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Barbara Shephard of Batavia; children Marie (Daniel) Wierzbicki of Cheektowaga, Mark (Kim) Shephard of Batavia; 4 grandchildren Andrew, Ashley, Matthew and Michael; sister  Sally (Curtis) Murray of LeRoy, sister-in-law Gladys Mooney of Attica; brother-in-law Charles (Brigitte) Duschen of Brockport along with many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday July 22, 2015 from 4PM – 7PM at Marley Funeral Home, LLC 135 Main Street Attica, New York 14011. A 9:00 AM Funeral Service will be held on Thursday July 23, 2015 at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in Forest Hill Cemetery.
