
He was born in Medina, NY on June 15, 1931, a son of the late Joseph and Mary Bialas Maryjanowski.
He was retired from Kraft Food Co. in Avon, NY where he was a food technologist. He was a long time member of Ascension Parish in Batavia a dedicated member of its Holy Name Society and a member of the Bingo Committee. Chester enjoyed gardening, canning his own home grown vegetables and baking muffins. In his earlier years he loved to hunt and fish.
Surviving is his wife of over 54 years, Barbara Blaszczyk Maryjanowski. His daughter and son in law, Laurie and Vincent Penepent of Riga and two grand daughters, Morgan and Amanda Penepent. A brother, Thomas Maryjanowski of Medina. Two sisters, Catherine Buczkowski of Lockport and Florence (Donald) Fortunato of Medina. Sister in law and brother in law, Mary Ann and James McCarthy of Batavia. Several nieces and nephews also survive. He was the brother of the late: George, John and Joseph Maryjanowski.
Friends may share their thoughts, condolences and fond memories with the family on Sunday from 2 - 5 PM at the J. LEONARD MCANDREW FUNERAL HOME, LLC., 2 BOGUE AVE., BATAVIA. A Service of Christian Burial will be Monday at 10:00 AM at Ascension Parish (Sacred Heart campus), corner of Swan and Sumner Sts., Batavia. Please assemble at church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
The Holy Name Society will recite the rosary at 1:30 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
