Donald E. Roche

Donald E. Roche, 82 of North Java passed away on Tuesday June 10, 2014 at Wyoming County Community Hospital. He was born on July 20, 1931 in North Java to the late Charles (Alice Schier) Roche. Donald is preceded in death by his brothers Francis, Robert, Vincent Roche; sister Florence Bauer. Mr. Roche was a Councilman for Wyoming County. He was a longtime farmer and member of the North Java Fire Department.

He is survived by his sisters Mary Margaret Borek of FL; Rita Marvin of TN;  Rowena (Norman) Gerhardt of Marilla; Ann (Kenneth) Bush of Rochester; Theresa (Donald) Simons of Strykersville, brother Charles Roche of Batavia, along with many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call on Friday June 13, 2014 from 4 to 8 PM at Marley Funeral Home, LLC 135 Main Street, Attica New York 14011.  An 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday June 14, 2014 at St. Patrick’s R.C. Church 1468 Route 78 (Main St.) Java Center, NY 14082. He will be laid to rest in St. Nicholas Cemetery, North Java.
