KATHLEEN G. CIPOLLA – Age 57, of Batavia, died Wednesday evening November 27, 2013 at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. She was born April 7, 1956 in Buffalo, NY to Clara C. (Borowiec) Gleason of Warsaw and the late Donald R. Gleason.
Kathleen was a 1974 graduate of Warsaw Central School where she was the class valedictorian and a 1978 graduate of SUNY Albany earning her bachelor's in English. She was employed at the Beacon Center in Buffalo, a member of City Church and enjoyed her cats, Thumper & Scribbles. Kathy will be remembered for her strong faith in the Lord and being a wonderful, caring mother to her girls.
Surviving along with her mother, her beloved daughters, April and Natalie Cipolla both of Batavia; brothers, Michael (Eileen) of Clinton, NY and Tim (Jean) of Oshkosh, WI; sisters, Susan of Belmont, NY and Joanna of MT; former husband, Thomas Cipolla of Stafford, NY; dear friends, Kathy Meacham, Mary Hecht, Melanie Connors and Margaret Peri along with several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may visit from 12-2 p.m. on Sunday December 1, 2013 at the MICHAEL S. TOMASZEWSKI FUNERAL & CREMATION CHAPEL, LLC 4120 WEST MAIN STREET ROAD BATAVIA, NEW YORK 14020 where Funeral Services will immediately follow. Memorials are suggested to the family and burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
