Pavilion ~ Alison A. Walton, age 72, of Pavilion Center Road, passed away in the presence of her loving family, early Tuesday morning (Sept. 24, 2013) at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia.
Mrs. Walton was born March 3, 1941 in Corfu, N.Y., a daughter of the late Wallace and Evelyn Mann Gordon.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, who was truly devoted to her family. She will be remembered for her selflessness and love for her family and friends. She also enjoyed reading, baking, gardening and playing cards.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Paul T. Walton, her children; Frank (Paula) Miller III of LeRoy, Jon (Cheryle) Miller of TN, Helen (Jeffrey) Cunningham of LeRoy, David (Deanne) Miller of Batavia, Caroline (Joshua) McAda of TX, Nanette (Michael) Chiulli of Geneseo, Michelle (Thomas) Sherman of LeRoy, Michael (Amy) Miller of Batavia, Michael (MaryEllen) Walton of MI and Richard (Rebecca) Walton of Geneseo, her siblings; Helen (Edward) Layton of NJ, Wallace Gordon Jr. of Penn Yan and Mark (Jean) Gordon of Albany, her 27 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Karen Zambito and her sister in law, Carol Gordon.
Family and friends may call on Friday from 2 ~ 4 and 7 ~ 9 at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Rd. (Rt. 19), LeRoy, where her funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM. Interment will be completed privately in Pavilion Cemetery. Donations can be made in lieu of flowers to the family for distribution to charities of their choice.
