William E. Hastings III, 52 of Batavia, died June 12, 2012 at 400 Towers in Batavia as result of an accidental fall. He was born January 26, 1960 in Dansville, to the late William E. Hastings II and Helga Treike of Brockport. Mr. Hastings formerly worked at Wal-Mart in Batavia. He was a member AA, who loved art, playing his guitar and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife Lynn (Kujawski) Hasting of Batavia; step-daughter Katie (Thomas) Wolcott of Batavia; step-mother Marcia Hastings of Dansville; brother Kurt (Komiko) Hastings of VA; sister Heidi Tobias of Wayland; two grandchildren Joseph and Khloe Wolcott of Batavia; along with several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to attend calling hours from 4 to 6 PM on Tuesday June 19, 2012 at Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company, Inc. 329-333 West Main Street Batavia, New York 14020. Funeral Services will follow calling hours at 6 PM on Tuesday June 19, 2012 at the Funeral Home.
