Jason D. Lang

By T.J. Woodward

On June 24, 2017 Jason passed away at home. He fought a very courageous battle with addiction that he tried so hard to overcome. Sadly Jason lost his battle but God gained a very precious angel. He was born October 5, 1983 in Buffalo, to Ricky (Niki Tundo) Lang of Batavia. Jason is preceded in death by grandmother Elfreda Scroger, grandfather Gerald Lang.

Jason was the owner of Grab-a-Cab which he took much pride in his business. He thought the world of his son and daughter whom he loved both with his entire heart and soul. Jason loved spending time with family, hunting, fishing and playing cards. He had a heart of gold; there is nothing he wouldn’t do to help anyone. He was such a loving, kind man and truly cared about everyone he knew. Jason was very generous, many times donating during the holidays, like Christmas to help a family in need, that’s what Jason enjoyed, seeing other people happy.

He is survived by his parents, son Lathan A. Lang of Batavia; sister Brandi M. Smith, brother Jacob A. Lang, grandmother Marie Tundo all of Batavia; grandfather Nick Tundo of Las Vegas; along with many nieces and nephews.
