Age 75, of Batavia, died peacefully Monday evening February 27, 2012 at the Genesee County Nursing Home. She was born July 19,1936 in Buffalo, New York, a daughter of the late Henry & Emma (Heidenreich) Sliker, also preceded in death by her husband Roger C. in 1993 and a brother George Sliker. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, was an avid gardener, a wonderful woman who enjoyed children and was a devoted mother.
Surviving is her loving son Mark Zetterberg of Akron; brothers John J. (Carol) Sliker of E. Pembroke & James (Della) Sliker of Medina; sisters Jean Hale of Elba, Arlene Herod of Batavia and Mary (Monroe) Sommers of Pembroke along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces/nephews, great-great nieces/nephews and friends.
Family and friends may visit from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Thursday March 1 at the Michael S. Tomaszewski Funeral & Cremation Chapel, LLC 4120 West Main Street Road Batavia, New York 14020 where Funeral Services will take place 11:00 AM Friday March 2.
