
She was a 1955 graduate of Silver Springs School. She worked for the former Perry Knitting Mill and G & L Laundry in Perry. She retired from the former Champion Products in Perry after 30 years of service. She was a former member of the Perry Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and the Wyoming Valley Antique Car Club. She enjoyed bird watching, tending to her flower gardens and loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter; Cindy (James F. “Rick”) Bramer of Warsaw; son James (Charlene) Van Allen of Perry; sister Evelyn Hamilton of Leicester; 2 sisters-in-law Carolyn Van Allen of Perry and June Green of Silver Springs; 4 grandchildren Tim (Jenny) Bramer, Michael (Jess) Bramer, Christina (Jim Slusser) Briggs, and Sarah Briggs; 5 great grandchildren Rowan, Keegan and Brooklynn Bramer, Noah and Logan Preen, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
Family and friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8pm on Friday June 16th at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 N. Main Street Perry, New York 14530. Graveside services will be held on Saturday June 17th at 11:00 A.M. at Elmwood Cemetery in Silver Springs.
