Age 78, of Basom, died Tuesday morning October 18, 2011 at the Batavia Nursing Home. She was born June 26, 1933 in Batavia, daughter of the late Clarence & Mary (Panek) Sumeriski, also preceded in death by her son Richard B. Wyder Jr. A member of St. Padre Pio Parish, Mrs. Wyder will be remembered as a loving, caring wife, mother and grandmother.
Surviving is her beloved husband of 58 years Richard B. Wyder of Basom; loving children Stephen (Diane) of Basom, Michael (Missy) of TX, Peter of Oakfield, David (Carrie) of Perry, Brenda (Steven) Burg of Batavia and Linda (Peter) DiLorenzo of CO; brother Clarence Sumeriski of AZ; sister JoAnn (David) Leaton of Byron; 12 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren along with aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends may visit from 4-8 PM Thursday October 20, 2011 at the Michael S. Tomaszewski Funeral & Cremation Chapel, LLC 4120 West Main Street Road Batavia, New York 14020 where prayers 9:15 AM Friday October 21 will be followed by a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Padre Pio Parish (Oakfield Site).
