Anita V. Rynkowski

Anita V. Rynkowski, 74 of Batavia, passed away unexpectedly on Monday (March 13, 2017) at Trinity Medical Center in Trinity, Florida.

She was born June 10, 1942 in Batavia, NY, a daughter of the late William and Rose Stachowski Wierzbicki.

Anita was a Registered Nurse and was employed by the former St. Jerome Hospital and Genesee Memorial Hospital prior to her retirement. She was a member of Ascension Parish and the Altar and Rosary Society.

Survivors include her husband, Robert L. Rynkowski of Batavia. Daughter, Patricia (Steve) Zapparolli of Port Richey, FL. Step-daughter, Lisa (Michael) Radesi of Phoenix, AZ.  Sister, Eileen “Butch” (Dan) Rynkowski of Batavia. Also survived by two grandchildren, Christine Long and Matthew Radesi;  great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are cordially invited to share thoughts, condolences and fond memories on Monday (March 20th) from 2-4pm and 6-9pm at the J. LEONARD MCANDREW FUNERAL HOME, LLC, 2 BOGUE AVE., BATAVIA. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, 11:00am at Ascension Parish (Corner of S. Swan and Sumner Sts.). Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery.

The Rosary Society will recite the rosary on Monday, 1:30pm at the funeral home.
