Age 96, of Elba, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY died early Wednesday morning at the LeRoy Village Green Nursing Home after a brief illness. She was born June 10, 1914 in Anita, PA daughter of the late Frank & Raphaela (Serianni) Villella. Mrs. Duganier was a member of St. Padre Pio Parish in Elba and Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Niagara Falls where she was very active in earlier years. She had a great love for family especially her sons and grandsons, a wonderful cook and avid card player.
She is survived by her loving sons Richard (Carol) Duganier of Elba and Joseph Duganier of Albion; a brother Anthony Villella of PA; grandsons Joseph of Batavia & Michael of PA along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews.
The family will be present from 3-7 PM Friday Oct. 8, 2010 at the Michael S. Tomaszewski Funeral & Cremation Chapel, LLC 4120 West Main Street Road Batavia, New York 14020 where prayers will be recited 9:15 AM Saturday Oct. 9 followed by a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial St. Padre Pio Parish (Elba Site). Memorials in her memory can be made to the Church or HomeCare & Hospice 550 East Main Street Batavia, New York 14020. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Niagara Falls, NY.
