Albert J. Belliveau

Gasport - Albert J. Belliveau, 79, of Gasport and St. Petersburg, 39-year employee of Caraustar Industries in Lockport, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 30, 2016 surrounded by family.  Mr. Belliveau was born September 1, 1937 in Lockport, a son of the late Lucien Belliveau and Marie Pellerin Belliveau.

A member of St. Mary's Church in Gasport, he and his wife wintered for many years in St. Petersburg, Florida where he was a member of the American Legion Post No. 273 in Madeira Beach. He served with the United States Navy from 1955-1959.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jane Cyrek Belliveau; his children, Danielle (Mark Turley) Dehm , Kathleen (John) Saville, Allen Belliveau, Cheryl (Janet DePetrillo) Belliveau, Susanne (Matthew) Palia, Charlene Khoury and Gerald Belliveau; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, Henry (Mary Jane) Belliveau of Largo, Florida and  Joseph (Diane) Belliveau of Tempe, Arizona along with several nieces and nephews.

There are no prior visiting hours. Friends are invited to a Memorial Mass on Saturday, November 12th at 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to WNY Challenger Sports League, 4839 Middleton Drive, Lockport, NY 14094 or Heritage Christian Services, 349 W.
