
Age 84, of Batavia, died peacefully Friday April 29, 2016 at the New York State Veterans Home @ Batavia surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 16, 1931 in Cayuga, NY, a son of the late Harold L. "Mose" and Elsie (Brinker) Weaver also preceded in death by his son, Jeffery Weaver.
Dean served honorably in the United States Army and was a lifelong worker in the natural gas and oil fields in Pennsylvania and New York. He was a devoted member of the Blind Veterans Association as well as a tireless volunteer at the Batavia VA Medical Center where he enjoyed meeting and making friends.
Surviving is his beloved wife of over 52 years, Barbara (Kilby) Weaver of Batavia; son, Bill (Peg) Weaver of Wyoming; daughter-in-law, Traci Weaver of Wyoming; sisters, Marilyn (Edward) Dills of Warsaw, Sonia (Bill) Whaley of Pavilion, Nancy Weaver of Farmington and brother, Dana Weaver of Pavilion; grandchildren, Mindy Kilby, Michelle (Andy) McIlroy, Jonathan, Joshua and Tyler Weaver; great-grandson, Reed McIlroy along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Please join Dean's family 11:00am Friday May 6, 2016 at the Pavilion Methodist Church for a Celebration of Life Service followed by Military Honors. In lieu of flowers memorials in his memory can be made to the New York State Veterans Home @ Batavia of the Pavilion Methodist Church.
