James E. Hink Jr., 66, of Batavia passed away on Saturday March 1, 2025 at his home. He was born on August 28, 1958 in Elmira to the late James E. Hink Sr. and Linda (Royce) Hink. In addition to his parents, James is predeceased by his step son; Brian Volino. 

James served his country in the United States Army as Military Police Officer. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans organization and the local American Legion in Batavia. James will be fondly remembered as a great family man and friend to everyone he met. 

He is survived by his beloved wife; Gail (Chaya) Hink; children Jennifer (Sean) McNally of VA., Charles (Stephanie) Hink of Irondequoit, Chad (Monica) Vandenberg of Rochester, Brenda (Aaron) Terry of Missouri and Joseph (Cathy) Volino of FL.; siblings Philip (Darlene) Hink of Avoca, Conrad (Betty Jean) Hink of Greenwood and Christopher (Martha) Hink of Greenwood; 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. 

There will be no prior calling hours. A Graveside Service will be announced for a later date at the Western New York National Cemetery in Corfu where James will be laid to rest.
