Joan Marchese, 89, of Batavia, passed away on Wednesday October 2, 2024. She was born in Batavia on January 20, 1935 to the late James and Caroline (Cammaratta) Capuano. In addition to her parents, Joan is preceded in death by her husband; Louis J. Marchese; brothers Frank, James Jr and Samuel Capuano.
Mrs. Marchese loved to cook and take trips to the Casino.
She is survived by her many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
Friends are invited to 9:30am Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Resurrection Parish, 303 East Main Street, Batavia, NY 14020. She will be laid to rest in Western New York National Cemetery, Corfu.
