Mary Jean Corradini, 91 of Batavia passed away on January 4, 2024 at the United Memorial Medical Center. She was born April 29, 1932 in Batavia, NY to the late Sebastian (Mamie Desimone) DiPietro.
Mrs. Corradini was a longtime member of St. Anthony’s Parish until its closure in December 2012, and then most recently Ascension Parish. She graduated from Batavia High School and went on to become a medical secretary. After many years at home raising her family she returned to work at the John Kennedy Elementary school as an aid.
She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Thomas Corradini of Batavia; Daughters Michelle (Jared) Goodfriend of Frederick, MD; Andrea (Jonathan) Goodwin of Ellicott City, MD; Brenda (Michael) Kurtianyk of Middletown, MD; her 7 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren; along with two nieces.
Friends are invited to call on Monday January 8, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11 AM at the Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company, Inc. 329-333 West Main Street Batavia, New York 14020 followed by a Funeral Mass at 12 PM at Ascension Parish 19 Sumner Street, Batavia, NY 14020. A private interment will take place at Western New York National Cemetery in Corfu, NY.
