James M. Alvut, 59 of Bethany, passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2023. He was born March 3, 1964 in Batavia, to the late Clarence and Barbara (Kowalik) Alvut.
James was a 1982 graduate of Batavia High School. He worked at UPS in Batavia. Jim enjoyed camping, gardening and working on cars, especially Volkswagen’s.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda S. (Worthington) Alvut, children, Emily Alvut of Philippi, WV, Michael (Rebecca Saile) Alvut of Batavia, sister, Sandy (David) DiSalvo of Batavia, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
An 11:00am Celebration of his Life will be held on Monday, June 5, 2023 at Sacred Heart Social Center, 17 Sumner Street, Batavia, NY 14020.
