Friends of the Richmond Memorial Library host monthly sale and Friend of the Year reception
The Friends of Richmond Memorial library will host their monthly book sale on Thursday, August 5 from 9 am to 7 pm in the Wilber-Fox Room at the library. After more than a year without a monthly sale, the Friends are excited to welcome the community back. Thanks to many wonderful donations, there is a huge selection to choose from, including fiction, history, sports, cookbooks, gardening, children’s and many more! Please note that the use of price-scanning devices and software is only permitted during the hours of 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm.
The Friends will also host a reception for their “Friend of the Year” award on Saturday, August 14 at 11 am. They will honor 2020 Friend of the Library Sue Chiddy and 2021 Friend of the Year Jerianne Barnes. The reception will take place at the library and refreshments will be served.
