
“Theo” or “Jr” as he was affectionately called, was raised in Monticello, FL by his grandmother, the late Mary Lee Denmark until his high school years when he moved to Bartow, FL to be with his mom and step father who raised him to adulthood. Theo joined his beloved Melissa in holy matrimony on April 3, 1999 and shortly thereafter relocated to New York. One of his greatest accomplishments was going back to school and earning his GED from Genesee Valley BOCES in June 2006. Theo was a Team Supervisor for Yancey’s Fancy Cheese for several years until his health declined and was forced to retire. He loved watching NASCAR, he enjoyed fishing, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
Theo is survived by his loving siblings, Pamela (Lorenzo) Farmer of Winter Haven, FL, Colina (Jerry) Williams-McAfee of Auburndale, FL, Debra (Andrew) Harris of Syracuse, NY, Zina (Terry) Whitaker of Albany, GA, Michelle (Kevin) Kaigler of Tallahassee, FL, Lisa Williams of Atlanta, GA, Ricky (Carmelita) Howard of Syracuse, NY, Kelvin (Linda) Williams of Winter Haven, FL; loving companion and her family, Catherine Thomas, her daughters and grandchildren; loyal friend, Crystal Polk, Ballard Maye, Ulysses Maye along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and cousins.
Theo’s family will be present from 1 – 3p.m. on Monday June 15, 2020 at the MICHAEL S. TOMASZEWSKI FUNERAL & CREMATION CHAPEL, LLC 4120 West Main Street Road Batavia, New York 14020. Memorial contributions in his memory are suggested to the family.
