  Michelle G. Buckenmeyer, 33, of Alexander passed away on September 28, 2019. She was born on July 3, 1986 in Batavia to Bernard Buckenmeyer Jr. and Marcia (Brown) Hirsch. Michelle is predeceased by her grandfather; Harold Brown.

Michelle graduated from Alexander High School in 2004. She was a lifelong dairy farmer, working on her family’s dairy farm in Alexander. She was an avid Red Sox fan, had a love for the outdoors and riding four wheelers. Michelle was full of life and always had a smile on her face. She had a way with animals, her dogs and cats, but especially the cows and calves she would always help if she could, no matter the time of day or how long it took.

Shell Bell will be irreplaceable at the farm and in our hearts and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her mother; Marcia (Paul) Hirsch of Alexander; father Bernie Buckenmeyer of Alexander; her loving daughter Madison Eddy; boyfriend Nate Beglinger of Alexander; siblings Todd (Matt Norman) Buckenmeyer of Alexander, Cory (Alisha) Buckenmeyer of Alexander, Sara Buckenmeyer of CO., Darin (CJ Schmidt) Buckenmeyer of CO., Adam (Abbie Kelley) of Alexander and Aaron (Leslie) Hirsch of Alexander; grandparents Bernie (Gerrie) Buckenmeyer, Clara (Donald) Kennedy, Marcia Brown; tons of aunts, uncles and cousins; her two favorite nieces and best farm helpers, Lilia Buckenmeyer and Peyson Foster and her nephew Henry Hirsch.

Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday October 1, 2019 from 5:00-8:00PM at the Alexander Fire Banquet Hall 10708 Alexander Rd. Attica, NY 14011. An 11:00AM Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday October 2nd at the Fire Hall. Michelle will be laid to rest in the West Bethany Cemetery.
