PETER A. VANDETTA

PETER A. VANDETTA ~ of Oakfield, age 78, was born August 10, 1940 in Batavia, NY, to the late Peter and Pauline (Orsini) Vandetta, also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carolyn (Carlo) Vandetta in 2002.

Peter served his country honorably in the US Army for over 20 years, a quiet man who enjoyed his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

He is survived by his daughter, Ronda (Walter) Grabowski of Waterport, NY; grandchildren, Samantha (Tylor Heideman) Wilkins of Lyndonville and Joshua McAvoy of Waterport; great-granddaughter, Savanna Heideman along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Please join the family for a Celebration of Life Service 1:30p.m. on Sunday August 11, 2019 at the MICHAEL S. TOMASZEWSKI FUNERAL & CREMATION CHAPEL, LLC 4120 West Main Street Road Batavia, New York 14020 followed by Military Honors. Memorials in his memory can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice and he was laid to rest in Bath National Cemetery.
