St. Mark’s Episcopal Church’s monthly discussion series called “Community for Understanding” will meet at the church, 1 E. Main St., LeRoy on Thursday, Sept. 12 at 7 p.m. to discuss “Southernmost” by Silas House.
This highly acclaimed novel makes readers think about judgment, love, and courage in a story about a small-town pastor whose one small decision sets life-changing events in motion.
Copies of the book are available to borrow at the church. All are welcome to these monthly conversations on current concerns; meetings emphasize civility in discourse with faith considered in its broadest sense.
