We've received a couple of messages asking "what was going on at Movies in Motion?"
There was nothing going on at Movies in Motion.
Police responded to a report of a domestic incident at an apartment behind the business on East Main Street.
Batavia PD, Sheriff's Office and State Police all reportedly responded.
We'll provide additional information as it becomes available.
NOTE: The inquiries about this came 45 minutes to an hour after the incident. If you see something going on and want us to check it out, don't assume we know about it. The new radio system provides spotty coverage. It's easier for law enforcement to encrypt messages and, in some cases, law enforcement has always tried to keep radio traffic to a minimum.
