SHIRLEY M. MALONEY ~ of Batavia, born November 6, 1923 in Buffalo, New York to Francis and Mary (Riggs) Maloney, died peacefully Monday December 24, 2018 at her home, along with her parents Shirley was predeceased by a brother, Robert Maloney and cousins, Norman (Marlene) Wolf and M. Terry Riggs.

Shirley had just celebrated her 95th birthday with a small gathering, she was well loved and will be missed by her family and friends. She was a member of Resurrection Parish (St. Joseph’s) for many years and was retired from the Batavia City School District as a Dental Hygienist and will be remembered as the “Tooth Lady.”


Shirley is survived by her niece, Mary (Eric) Isbister (nee Maloney) of WI; first cousins, Michael (Patricia) Wolf of Orchard Park, Fred (Bette) Wolf of East Aurora and Jane Riggs of Batavia

Please join Shirley’s family in Celebrating her Mass of Christian Burial 11a.m. Saturday January 5, 2019 at Resurrection Parish (St. Joseph’s Site), she will be laid to rest with her parents in St. Joseph’s Cemetery and memorials in her memory are suggested to a charity of the donor’s choice.
