JAMES D. "BONZ" WILCOX

JAMES D. “BONZ” WILCOX ~ 54, of Batavia, died Monday morning December 17, 2018 at United Memorial Medical Center. Jim was born in Batavia on August 23, 1964 in Batavia, a son of Norma F. (Case) Greiner of Batavia and the late John P. Wilcox, Sr.

Jim was the owner/operator of Big Jim’s Scrap Removal and a member of St. James Episcopal Church in Batavia. He enjoyed mirror art, woodworking, refurbishing furniture and four wheeling. Jim had a big heart and was always willing to lend a hand, always a story to tell and a knack for making people laugh – he will be sadly missed by the “Bonecrew.”

Along with his mother Jim is survived by his children, Jessica and Stevie Wilcox of Chili; siblings, John P. Wilcox, Jr. of Batavia, Shawn (Shannon) Wilcox of Billings, MT, Michael, Mark, Mary and Paula Asscenato; nieces, Sara Palmer Houseknecht, Megan, Jennifer and Maeve Wilcox.

Jim’s funeral services will be held privately by his family and memorials in his memory may be made to any pediatric cancer research organization.
