There's a harzardous weather outlook in effect for Western New York, according to the National Weather Service in Buffalo. A slow-moving cold front will drop southeastward across the Eastern Great Lakes Region and it has the potential to produce a few strong thunderstorms with heavy rainfall.
In addition, a flash-flood warning has been issued for Southeastern Genesee County and Central Wyoming County until 8:45 p.m.
At 5:46 p.m., Emergency Management reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain across central Wyoming County, and specifically Pavilion in Genesee County. Those in affected areas are advised to move to higher ground now.
