The Veness Strollo Ladies Auxiliary volunteer at the VAMC in Batavia on a monthly basis. We have "adopted" The Center for Hope. This is a residential program for women veterans with PTSD. Wer supply thrm with a month Birthday cake and pizza party, as well as,personal and craft items.
The VAMC in Batavia is always in need of volunteers.The volunteers help transport wheelchaired veterans to events, read to them, help them write correspondence and assist at meal times. This is just to name a few duties volunteers perform. If you have a special talent such as music or art and you would like to share it they wilhave a place for you.
