I called dispatch about a week ago regarding someone walking a dark german shepherd about a block or so from this area in the 450 area of Main Street. The dispatch guy was kind of pompous and disinterested. No way to know if they ended up spotting and stopping the guy or not. I didn't expect a call back, but it would of been nice so I at least knew if they found the guy I saw as otherwise I might have gone back to look further. If it wasn't him and he got stopped my apologies to the guy with the dog. Walking a dark german shepherd in that area is sure to draw concerns. I would of loved to see this guy caught.

In my neighborhood, I am friends or at least acquainted with almost all of my neighbors and their dogs...the dog breed, and even their dogs names…surely there would be a resident/landlord who knows of a man owning a dog with this description, who could contact authorities. Also this dog has had to be outside at some point to do its business. As with other comments, I am sickened by this act of unnecessary evil. Need to leave on a positive note…thank you’s and Happy New Year’s extended to Howard and Billie, members of The Batavian and viewers.
