I find it amazing how the Town of LeRoy wants to enforce zoning laws and the Town of Pembroke ignored their zoning laws and allowed a commercial business, Creekside Septic & Rentals and Mikes Roll-Off’s to operate in an Agricultural/Residential zoned district. And the Town of Pembroke changed the zoning laws that allows the business to continue operations. Neighbors now has to put up with the noise, dust, smell of Diesel and foul language with children around. Plus the Town of Pembroke didn’t follow N.Y. TOWN LAW § 268 NY Code - Article 16, Section 268 :"Enforcement and Remedies" and never fined the owner of Creekside for numerous violations.
The Town of Leroy should support their Zoning Boards decisions, drop the law suit and sweep this whole thing under the rug and get on with Life. This whole thing started with a bunch of sour grapes presented by a couple of local residents.
