George A. Miller, 82 of Alexander, passed away on Friday December 27, 2013 at the United Memorial Medical Center. He was born November 12, 1931 in Batavia to the late John R. (Kathryn E. Eichelberger) Miller. Mr. Miller was retired from Traveler’s Insurance in Buffalo and he was a member of the Alexander United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife Carol A. (Bunn) Miller who passed on December 1, 2012.
Mr. Miller is survived by his three children Jeffrey (Suzanne) Miller of Lancaster, Cheryl Silvestrini of Elbridge, Christopher Miller of Alden; two grandchildren Jake and Megan Miller who survive along with his sister Janet Marriott of Rochester and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call on Thursday January 2, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at Marley Funeral Home, LLC. 135 Main Street Attica, NY 14011. A 10:30 AM Funeral Service will take place on Friday January 3, 2014 at the Alexander United Methodist Church, 10540 Main Street, Alexander, NY 14005. He will be laid to rest in Forest Hill Cemetery, Attica.
