Lorne R. Brudz, 18, of Batavia passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at the United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia. He was born on June 10, 1999, in Batavia to Mark and Colleen (McMahon) Brudz. Lorne is predeceased by his grandparents Joseph and Esther Brudz; Richard and Joanne McMahon.

Lorne had a love for animals, as he was aspiring to be a Veterinarian Technician. He was an avid reader, loved art, sketching and drawing and enjoyed playing Xbox online with his friends. Lorne will be remembered for his big heart and his willingness to help anyone who needed it.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings; Amanda Brudz of Batavia and Andrew Brudz of Rochester; uncle Timothy (Rita) Brudz of Attica, aunt Amy (Edward) Wenck of Indiana, and Michelle McCulloch of Attica along with several cousins.

Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, September 25, 2017, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company, Inc. 329-333 West Main Street Batavia, New York 14020. A 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday the 26th at St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish located at 8656 Church St. East Pembroke, NY 14056. He will be laid to rest in St. Vincent’s Cemetery in Attica.
