Genesee women's soccer signs three to letters of intent

By Billie Owens

Genesee Community College women's soccer head coach Jeff Reyngoudt announced that student athletes Brenna DeFelice (of Holley), Rachel Oliver (of Holley) and Micalah Klejment (of Williamson) have signed Letters of Intent to play for GCC beginning in the fall season of 2013.

"We've added three great players to our team for next season," Reyngoudt said. "They will help strengthen our defense and outside midfield."

DeFelice, a defender, will join Genesee from Holley High School where she was a three-year varsity player and a Genesee Region All-Star. A 12-year veteran of the sport, DeFelice intends to major in Nursing and Health Studies.

Oliver, a defender, will also join GCC from Holley High School. A three-year varsity player and two-time Genesee Region All-Star, Oliver chose Genesee because of the soccer program and educational opportunities. She plans to major in Nursing and Health Studies.

Klejment, a midfielder, will join Genesee from Williamson Senior High School. A tri-sport athlete, Klejment also participated in track and basketball. She has been playing soccer for 14 years and was a two-time All-County selection in high school. She intends to major in Nursing and Health Studies.
