This week, youth from all over Genesee County are taking part in the first ever EnviroChamps Camp held at Genesee County Park and Forest in collaboration with the Genesee County Youth Bureau.
Throughout the week, campers grade six through eight are having the chance to experience and explore many different topics in the environmental field. Some of these include forestry, sustainability, GPS, wildlife, and many others.
From 1:30 to 3 p.m. on Friday, the public is invited to come visit and see what the week entailed. Campers will be leading tours of the park and sharing what they learned through out the week.
