Criminal mischief is reported at the newly established Peace Garden, adjacent to the Holland Land Office Museum on Main Street in the City of Batavia. They are reportedly ripping up the flowers. City police are responding.
UPDATE 8:36 p.m. (by Howard): After getting back from Le Roy, I swung by the Peace Garden and didn't see any plants pulled out of the ground.

When I drive by the Batavia Pease Garden I have to wonder, and would like to know if I am the only one feeling this way.
Why is the USA flag in the back row? You really have to look hard to see it AND why is the USA flag just as high as all the other flags?
I would really like to see OUR Nations flag higher than all the other flags with a over sized flag pole AND front & center.. Just saying
