Fay L. Totten, 91of Stafford, died April 24, 2012 at the LeRoy Village Green Nursing Home. He was born December 7, 1920 in Friendship, New York to the late Roland (Pearl Hilleshiem) Totten. Mr. Totten was a retired Dairy Farmer and owner of Hy-Hope Farms, Inc. in Stafford for 60 years He was a member and deacon of the Morganville United Church of Christ, member of Community Co-Op, Kesequea Grange, Genesee County Extension and Genesee County Fair Board. He also loved caining chairs and loved to read. He is predeceased by a son Kenneth Totten, his brothers Milford, William, Verlin, Harold, Calvin, Harvey, Leonard, Bernard, and Buford Totten, sisters Bessie Armison, Regina Popp and Vione Loomis.
Fay is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years Betty Buck Totten of Stafford, sons Richard (Bonnie) Totten of Morganville, Ronald (Barbara) Totten of Stafford, daughters Linda (Charles) Miller of Warsaw, Brenda (Masami) Iburi of Morganville, daughter in law Patricia Totten of Stafford. 14 Grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
There will be no prior calling hours. Friends are invited to attend a 11:00 AM Funeral Service on Friday April 27, 2012 at Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company Inc 329-333 West Main St. Batavia, NY 14020. Interment will take place in Morganville Cemetery.
