Valerie devoted her life to serving others and touched the lives of those she served. Prior to her retirement she was an elementary school teacher at St. Anthony’s School and a server at the BBC and Alex’s Restaurants. It was always her sincere desire to share her joy with others if only for a while. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and an intricate part of her children and grandchildren’s lives. She was also an active member of Grace Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Valerie is survived by her children; Lester J. (Colleen) Hill of Batavia, Lori (Eric) Currier of Batavia, Katie (Joel) Blanchet of Clarence, and Kris (Becky) Hill of NC.; 10 grandchildren, Eric (Nicole) Hill, Rhiannon (Justin) Euren, Joshua (Shannon) Currier, Kirsten (Scott) Rennicks, Hollis and Holden Blanchet, Hudson, Lila, Rylee and Camdyn Hill; 5 great grandchildren along with many brothers, sisters and countless nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday June 30, 2017 from 9:00-10:00AM at Grace Baptist Church 238 Vine St. Batavia, NY 14020. A 10:00AM Celebration of Life will be held immediately following the visitation at the church. She will be laid to rest in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
