I voted no because my faith is not blind. It is quite an accomplishment that they made the playoffs and I know they can beat the Flyers but, the biggest issue is as in the past has been their inability to keep the higher priced veterans. I hope that the new owner will be able to address this issue. Think about all the great players the Sabres had to let go due to money. They don’t need the top goal scorers on their team to win the Lord Stanley Cup but they need a few solid 30+ veteran goal scorers that can stay healthy. They also need a bit of help on the defense side which includes the back checking from their offense. It doesn’t matter if you have the best goaltender in the world (ask Dominic Hasek) you still have to “put the biscuit in the basket” to win.
