Catherine “Catchie” Skye, 94 of the Tonawanda Indian Reservation, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday (March 12, 2017) at her residence.
She was born June 28, 1922 in Alabama, NY, a daughter of the late Simon and Melinda Skye.
Catherine was a member of the Tonawanda Indian Presbyterian Church and enjoyed watching movies and listening to country music. She was a member of the Snipe Clan and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include a niece, Kathy Melissa (Malcom Hill) Smith of Basom.
She was the sister of the late Clarinda Skye Stevens.
