Eleanor L. (nee Button, Kreutter) Barber

Eleanor L. (nee Button, Kreutter) Barber, 92 of Cowlesville, passed away peacefully on Thursday March 2, 2017 at Seneca Health Care Center in West Seneca. She was born February 11, 1925 in Franklinville, NY to the late Leon (Lavina Wheeler) Button. Mrs. Barber is preceded in death by her beloved husbands James A. Kreutter and George F. Barber; brothers Donald, Bruce Button; sisters Katharine Nordland, Evelyn DiBari, Jane Button; half-sister Lavina Patrickus, brother-in-law Edward Jaworski, sister-in-law Shirley Button.  

Eleanor was a member of Folsomdale Baptist Church and Gideons International Auxiliary. She worked for many years at Fisher Price in East Aurora.  

She is survived by her children Lavina (Allen) Schuessler, Caroline (Joseph) DiPardo of Cowlesville; Betty (David) Clark of Alpharetta, GA; Barbara (Michael) Wantuck, MaryJane (Randall) Heller of Cowlesville; Fred (Debra) Kreutter of Alden; step-children Ray, David (Mary) Barber; sister Shirley Jaworski; brother Peter Button; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call on Monday March 6, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at Folsomdale Baptist Church, 1366 Folsomdale Rd. Cowlesville, NY 14037. Funeral Services will immediately follow 12:00 Noon at the church. She will be laid to rest in Cowlesville Cemetery.
