
Mickey retired from the Wyoming County Bank as Administrative Assistant. She enjoyed solving crossword and sudoku puzzles in The Daily News, knitting, watching her favorite TV game shows and old time movies, listening to organ and classic music, playing her organ, singing in her church choir, playing pinochle and taking trips with her friends. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing in golf tournaments with her husband and daughter. She was a diehard fan of the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabers and looked forward to watching their games on TV. She was a member of St. Paul’s UCC and the Attica Golf Club where she served as President of the Ladies Organization. Mickey was a devoted wife, a great mother, who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mickey will be remembered for her laugh and the fun she inspired.
She is survived by her children, Beverly J (Richard Cramer) Myers of Attica, Robert A. Mitzel of Joliet, Ill., Don (Ginny Liberatore) Mitzel of Honeoye; her sister-in-law Lorraine Schurr of Ft. Myers, FL.; 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
An 11:30 AM Funeral Service will be held on Saturday January 14, 2017 at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ 11 Washington St, Attica, NY 14011. Internment is being held privately at Marilla Cemetery.
