
Mr. Bramer served with the US Army from 1952-1954.Jim was a graduate of Perry Central School. He worked many years at his father’s bakery business (Perry Baking Company later known as Bramer’s Bakery) before taking it over in 1975. He retired in 2003. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, a former member of the Constellation Lodge #404 of the Free and Accepted Mason and the American Legion McKelton Post #350. Jim enjoyed roller skating, boating, and fishing on Silver Lake, woodworking and watching football games.
He is survived by his wife: Bonnie (Darrow) Bramer whom he married on April 4, 1980; 2 sons Rick (Cindy) Bramer of Warsaw, Craig (Linda) Bramer of Portageville; step-daughter Penny (Terry) Bovee of Dansville; step-sons Tim (Helen Whiteman) Craft of Perry, Jim (Denise) Craft of Dalton along with many grandchildren; step grandchildren; great grandchildren nieces and nephews.
A Memorial service will be announced at a later date. He will be laid to rest in Mt. Morris Cemetery in Mt. Morris.
