Recent Genesee County Grand Jury indictments:

Christopher J. Elmore, indicted on a charge of criminal possession of a forged instrument. Elmore is accused of trying to pass a counterfeit $10 bill on Sept. 22, 2009. (Previous report on Christopher J. Elmore).

Paul D. Berggren, indicted on a charge of rape, 3rd. Berggren is accused of being older than 21 and engaging in sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old female on or about Aug. 30, 2009.

Kyle D. Faron, indicted on a charge of DWI and driving with a BAC of .08 or greater. Faron is accused of driving drunk on Akron Road in the Town of Pembroke on Jan. 23, 2010.

Wesley A. Ground, indicted on a charge of DWI and driving with a BAC of .08 or greater. Ground is accused of driving drunk on Akron Road, Pembroke on Feb. 4, 2010.

Adam D. Pattridge, indicted on a charge of DWI driving with a BAC of .08 or greater. Pattridge is accused of driving drunk on Route 19 in the Town of Le Roy on March 24, 2010.

A  torn electrical wire is reported at 30 Gilbert St. in Le Roy. National Grid has been notified about the wire, which is in the roadway blocking traffic. Le Roy Fire and a medic have been notified.

Additional cones are requested by fire police to help reroute traffic.

Jeffrey M. Kohorst, 21, of 6105 Main Road, Stafford, is charged with menacing and reckless endangerment. Kohorst is accused of getting into a domestic dispute with a former girlfriend and her current boyfriend at the Kohorst residence. While the former girlfriend removed her property from the residence, Kohorst allegedly retrieved a shotgun from inside his home and confronted the new boyfriend demanding that he leave the property. Kohorst allegedly followed his threat by firing one shot in the direction of, and in close proximity to, the boyfriend. Kohorst was jailed on $15,000 bail.

Frank E. Finnin, 44, of 10 S. Main St., Batavia, is charged with petit larceny. Finnin reportedly was wanted on a warrant out of City Court for failure to answer an alleged petit larceny charge. Finnin was spotted by Officer Dan Coffey at 10:15 a.m., Friday, walking on West Main Street.

Timothy Lee Taylor, 35, of Batavia, is charged with criminal contempt. Taylor is accused of violating an order of protection out of Family Court that limited the number of calls he could make to his ex-girlfriend. Taylor allegedly made more than 355 calls over an unspecified amount of time.

Scot G. Judd, 27, of Albion, is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Judd was arrested at 9:47 p.m., Wednesday, by Deputy Kevin McCarthy, who was conducting an investigation at the Mark Trial Hotel when he found Judd allegedly in possession of marijuana.

Elizabeth Anne Holly, 46, of Le Roy, is charged with DWI, driving with a BAC of .08, driving left of the pavement markings. Holly was stopped by Sgt. Thomas Sanfratello at 2:14 a.m., May 1, for allegedly crossing the double-yellow lines as she exited Valu Plaza on West Main Street.

Taheed Makal Moffett, 25, of Rochester, is charged with conspiracy, 5th. Moffett is accused of conspiring with another person in Genesee County Jail to promote prision contraband. No further details were released.

Jeffery Matthew Kaczmarek, 41, of Darien, is charged with DWI, driving with a BAC of .08 or higher, driving left of the pavement markings, moving from lane unsafely. Kaczmarek was stopped by Deputy Jason Saile at 2:26 a.m, Saturday, on Route 20 in Alexander.

Michael James Killigrew, 21, of Corning, is charged with DWI, driving with a BAC of .08, and moving from lane unsafely. Killigrew was arrested by Deputy Jason Saile at 2:55 a.m., Saturday, on Route 20 in Bethany following a report of a one-car accident. Killigrew reportedly swerved to avoid striking a deer and his car wound up in a ditch.

Jason Guy Nichols, 37, of Batavia, is charged with criminal trespass and harassment. Nichols is accused of entering a residence on East Main Street in Batavia without permission. While inside he allegedly harassed a woman during a domestic dispute. At his arraignment in Batavia Town Court, an order of protection was issued.

Le Roy Fire has cut up one tree on Platt Avenue today, and now a second tree has fallen blocking the stree in both directions.

A large tree has reportedly fallen and is blocking he roadway in the area of 8626 West Bergen Road, Le Roy.

Le Roy Fire is responding to cut up the tree and remove it from the roadway.

A Le Roy resident admitted in Genesee County Court today that in September he broke into a Pavilion business and damaged property there.

Bryan M Hargrave, 23, of 61 Myrtle St., Apt. B2, Le Roy, was charged with three counts each of: burglary; burglary 3rd; criminal mischief; and petit larceny.

As part of a plea bargain this morning, Hargrave agreed to admit to one count of burglary, 3rd, and one count of criminal mischief.

As part of the plea arrangement, he faces a maximum of six months in jail and five years probation.

That sentence cap could be lost if he violates the terms of his release under supervision -- an issue that apparently had him in court for a review of his bail status this morning after he allegedly violated terms of his RUS recently.

“You understand that if you do the same thing tomorrow that you did last week, you could end up going to state prison," Judge Robert Noonan said.

"Yes, your honor," Hargrave replied.

Assistant District Attorney Kevin Finnell opened the hearing by noting that Hargrave had allegedly violated his RUS terms and, after consulting with his defense attorney Gary Horton, was now ready to accept a plea offer.

Hargarve admitted to breaking into Pavilion Drainage, 6630 Route 63, Pavilion. He was also accused of breaking into B.W.'s Bar, 11070 Perry Road, Pavilion, and Willow Bend Inn, 3489 W. Main St. Road, Batavia.

As part of his plea, Hargrave agreed to pay whatever restitution is required for all charged break-ins.

Two women are reported fighting inside the McDonald's on Main Street in Le Roy.

Law enforcement is responding.

UPDATE 9:22 p.m.: Le Roy Police on scene with situation under control. The Sheriff's deputies responding told to disregard.

Nicholas A. Thurley, 25, of Lake Street, Apt. B, Le Roy, is charged with endangering the welfare of a child. Thurley was arrested after police received a complaint of 7-month-old baby with a heavily bruised buttocks. He is accused of striking the child on his face and buttocks while babysitting for a friend over the weekend. He was jailed on $2,500 bail. Det. John Candidorio and Officer Daryl Robb handled the investigation.

A 17-year-old from Batavia is charged with sexual misconduct. He is accused of engaging in intercourse with a 16-year-old girl from Batavia.

A 17-year-old from Le Roy was arrested on a warrant from the New York Office of Children and Family Services. The youth had been wanted by OCFS since October. He was found in an apartment in the Village of Le Roy.

Farah St. Cloud, 18, of Rochester, is charged with criminal trespass. St. Cloud was apprehended after allegedly trying to flee through a bedroom window at College Village, where she once lived, but had been allegedly banned from the property.

Wyatt Jeremiah Becker, 19, of Darien, is charged with trespass and unlawful possession of marijuana. Becker is accused of entering another person's property after being told not to do so. At the time of his arrest, he was allegedly found in possession of marijuana. He was jailed on $500 bail.

2:54 p.m., May 2, Lewiston Road, Town of Batavia, two vehicles; Driver 1: Michael A. Witkop, 18, of Batavia; Driver 2: Ronald J. Beardsley, 51, of Nunda. No injuries reported.

A big boom truck has struck the overhead bridge westbound on Route 5, Main Street, in the Village of Le Roy.

"It took the boom right off," says a responder.

The boom is in the roadway, completely blocking traffic. Le Roy Fire has been dispatched to handle traffic and as a precaution.

The driver has unknown, if any, injuries.

Scott C. Stine, 48, of York, Pa., is charged with DWI, refusal to take a breath test and moving from lane unsafely. Stine is accused driving drunk after being involved in a single-vehicle accident in the area of 8936 Lovers Lane Road, Pembroke, at 2:32 p.m., Saturday. He was jailed on $20,000 bail. Initial Report.

Jonathan D. Chapman, 40, of Le Roy, is charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Chapman was taken into custody by Village of Le Roy Police following an alleged domestic dispute on Myrtle Street on Friday night. Chapman was jailed on $500 bail.

Brandy L. Osmancikli, 36, of Alabama, is charged with harassment, 2nd. Osmancikli was arrested by State Police at 11:32 p.m., Saturday, on Lewiston Road in Alabama. No further details were released.

The odor of smoke inside the building has been reported at 12 Myrtle St., Le Roy.

Le Roy Fire and Le Roy Ambulance have been dispached.

UPDATE 11:38 a.m.: Chief on scene reports visible smoke coming from the building. Additional manpower requested.

Le Roy Police are looking for leads in two residential burglaries on East Main Street in the village over the weekend.

In the first, case a burglar broke into a house while the residents were sleeping. He apparently fled the scene when the residents awoke, but did manage to grab a purse before leaving.

In the second break-in, on Sunday night, the owners were not home. The burglar stole paintings, sports cards and jerseys.

The Le Roy Police are investigating a possible link between these burglaries and a burglary in the town of Williamson in Wayne County and are coordinating with the New York State Police in Wayne County. Evidence and manner of the crimes have led law enforcement to link the burglaries.

Two vehicles were seen in the area that may have been involved. They are a black pickup truck with a cap and a gray minivan seen sitting in the area earlier in the week with two occupants.

Witnesses who have information to share should contact the Le Roy Police Department.

A 19-year-old man is being accused of participating in nine burglaries in Le Roy over the past two months.

Michael J. Hilton, who reportedly has no permanent residence, is charged with one count of burglary, 2nd, two counts of petit larceny, three counts of burglary, 3rd, criminal mischief and attempted petit larceny

The alleged break-ins occurred on Myrtle Street and in two apartment complexes on West Main Street.

The investigation by Det. John Condidorio began in March after a computer, game system and military clothing were reported stolen.

The break-ins apparently took place in the basements of buildings.

Several items have been recovered, according to village police, and the investigation is ongoing. Police are attempting to match the recovered items with the proper owners.

Hilton was jailed on $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.

A car has reportedly hit a deer on the Thruway at mile marker 379.4.

One person reportedly suffered a head injury and another person is complaining of back pain.

Le Roy Fire and Ambulance have been dispatched.

According to reader Ashley Bolsei, who took this picture, an SUV apparently jumped a curb and hit at tree at around 5:15 p.m., today, at the intersection of Summit and Exchange streets.
