I don't look upon the super rich as Daddy Warbucks, but I do expect them to have a social conscience. Trickle Down didn't work. The super rich got their share but chose to forget that share came from those who labored for them. The perception that the prosperity would find its way down failed to become a reality. The two way street became a one way road block. They prospered on high production with less workers. They prospered with the help of corporate welfare. I don't expect them to run, willy nilly, handing out dollar bills. I expect them to do the right thing and foster aclimate of opportunity for prosperity to flourish.
I have no problem with giving people a hand up. It's the people that want a hand out that I can't stand. Generational welfare and the unwillingness to work or learn a trade. There will always be a percent of the population that needs a hand, it's the ones that abuse the system that is the problem. I think we all pay enough in taxes.
Howard I watched about 2 mins. of that video. . thank you for giving me the insight of who the super rich are. appears to me that those super rich people worked for their money, they didn't sit around on a porch or under a shade tree crying whoas me, where is my money.? the super rich can do whatever they wish with their money.

When we asked: Is income

Now we ask: Should the wealth of the super rich be given to the poor? And nearly three-quarters say NO.
Wildly divergent results on essentially the same question from our unscientific polls.
If forcing them to pay a
