E-cigs are pumping drugs into people's bodies. At this time there is no information as to what those drugs are except what the manufacturers declare... and we KNOW that manufacturers would NEVER lie about those sorts of things.
Regulating the e-cig itself is nothing but a cash-in on a burgeoning business. Regulating what goes in one is another story (nicotine, other controlled substances). I would never use one, but the fact is, nicotine isn't the only thing that can be vaporized in them. Many people have found them to be a tool for quitting smoking using harmless liquids. Regulating e-cigs because of what COULD be used in them is like regulating paper because it COULD be used to roll tobacco. More regulations = less freedom when they are not necessary and they take from the business owner to give to the government.
Excellent point, Jeff. The primary concern should be making sure what is delivered with the e-cig is known and safe. (FWIW, that is the level of regulation I was referring to.)

FYI - big tobacco has invested in e-cigs - http://www.cbsnews.com/news/tobacco-companies-bet-on-electronic-cigaret…. (Sorry about the CBS link, but I don't have time to find a more reliable source right now.)

Been vaping since Aug.of last year, haven't smoked any cigs since. Even if e-cigs
are a health risk, I just don't see them being as bad as cigarettes.
Gov. involvement = higher prices..
Willie vapes. I tried it but
Willie vapes. I tried it but I didn't like it as much as a joint and I don't have Willie's geetus, nor his connections.
